Cannabidiol, popularly known as CBD, is a chemical compound found in the plant named cannabis. Marijuana and hemp can be referred to as the cannabis plant. Possible side effects seen are dry mouth, drowsiness, and lowered blood pressure.

- Surprisingly dogs too suffer from seizures. It is said that CBD can be used to treat seizures. It can calm the neurons responsible for attacks. According to the study, the dogs who received CBD had a comparatively lesser number of attacks.
- Elderly dogs suffer from arthritis and joint pain, resulting in decreased energy, mobility, and quality of life. CBD can be effective against such pain.
CBD can indeed be a best friend to your dog, yet it is advised to use CBD only under your vet’s supervision as it has few side effects and can prove to be dangerous to your pet.
